Immunization Fallout and a PO Box
For those following and looking for an update on little Scarlett, the shots finally caught up to her. I thought we were going to get away from the immunizations clean because she was taking them so well for the first few days after. Colic seemed to be waning, and she was a significantly happier baby. Unfortunately, today triggered my PTSD from her early colic days. (Not really, but she was super irritable and wouldn’t sleep unless she was laying on my wife or me. Which made getting anything productive done impossible.) I can’t say I am even really aggravated by the whole thing, there will come a time when she no longer fits on my chest for a nap, so I’ll take them when I can get them.
I wanted to do this earlier in the day, so I could dedicate my nightly session to work on Ruck’s first exploration mission, but instead, I have to carve out some time for an update. My wife took the brunt of the baby load when she got home from work, but marketing work drove me down to the post office.
I have been spending the last few weeks getting my first quarterly newsletter ready to roll, out on February first, don’t miss out. It has a couple of personal updates and an excerpt from the new exploration book. To my surprise, I couldn’t schedule it until I put a valid mailing address at the bottom due to some marketing regulations.
Even though I’m positive that every person who has signed up for a newsletter is just a friend I haven’t met in person yet, I didn’t feel comfortable mixing business and personal. Cue ZD Dean’s official mailing address: P.O. Box 144, Kinsman, OH, 44428. Not sure if I will ever get anything in it, but it sounds pretty official.
Keeping this one short so I can get more of Ruck’s epic.
